The high temperature and high pressure gas-solid phase separation ceramic membrane filter tube project is an important subject in the carbon recovery and energy recovery of the refinery catalytic cracking unit by using pressurized powder coal gasification technology. At present, the filtration and separation methods are often used in the catalytic powder coal gasification technology and the refinery catalytic cracking unit. The synthesis gas containing more ash particles is sent to the high temperature and high pressure filter to separate and remove the ash particles to increase the pressure. The purification degree of gas in the powder coal gasification technology directly and efficiently utilizes the high-grade heat energy of the high-temperature flue gas of the catalytic cracking device. The ceramic membrane filter tube is the core component of the high temperature and high pressure filter. The research in this aspect started late in China, and the ceramic membrane filter tube used in the high temperature and high pressure filter still needs to rely on foreign imports. The "863" project team headed by Professor Li Jianbao cooperated with Jiangsu Yixing Non-Metal Chemical Plant Co., Ltd. After many years of research, this problem finally was solved. The high-temperature filter tubes developed by them have the characteristics of high filtration precision, large ventilation, not easy block, easy cleaning, and low cost, which fills the domestic blank. The breakthrough of this key technology not only promotes the localization process of Shell coal gasification production equipment, but also plays an important role in promoting the upgrading of China's filtration material industry and achieving the industrialization of filtration materials.

With the development of China's pulverized coal gasification technology, coal liquefaction technology and integrated gasification combined cycle power generation technology, ceramic membrane high temperature filter tubes have been applied to more industrial fields such as coal chemical, petrochemical, metallurgical industry, thermal power generation and environmental protection.
